    Elizabeth McQueen is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over two decades of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals and families. Based in Gulfport, Mississippi, she has been in private practice at Advanced Psychotherapy since 2012, where she offers individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Her clinical expertise includes treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

    Elizabeth’s approach integrates evidence-based modalities with a warm, client-centered style that emphasizes collaboration, growth, and resilience. She is skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating care with medical providers, schools, and community resources to ensure holistic support for her clients.

    Before entering private practice, Elizabeth worked in a range of clinical settings, including as a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Therapist with the Community Services Board in Manassas, Virginia, and as an Art Therapist at Accotink Academy in Springfield, Virginia. Her early experience as a Residential Therapist at Kaleidoscope in Vienna, Virginia, grounded her in trauma-informed care and behavioral interventions for children and adolescents in foster or residential programs.

    Elizabeth holds a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Fine Art from Millsaps College. She remains dedicated to ongoing professional development and the ethical, compassionate delivery of mental health services.

    Melissa M. Harwell is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been serving clients in private practice since 2021. She earned her Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from Delta State University and is currently pursuing her doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy, reflecting her ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality care to those she serves.

    With specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Melissa works with adolescents ages 13 and up, adults, couples, and families facing a wide range of challenges. She has particular expertise in supporting military personnel and first responders dealing with PTSD, as well as clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. Her approach integrates evidence-based modalities including CBT, narrative therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused techniques, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.

She uses a person-centered approach that highlights each client’s strengths to foster growth and positive change. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies. Emily earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Alabama and joined Advanced Psychotherapy in 2021. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients can process emotions and navigate life’s challenges with compassion and confidence.

    Amy Gasparrini, LCSW, is a licensed therapist dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s challenges and build resilience through evidence-based care. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2011 and has more than 13 years of experience providing mental health services at the Department of Veterans Affairs. During her time at the VA, Amy worked in diverse clinical settings, including outpatient mental health therapy, residential substance use treatment, and specialized programs addressing trauma and recovery. She also has experience in inpatient psychiatric care, supporting individuals with chronic mental health conditions. Amy’s therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, and other research-driven practices to empower clients in their healing journey.
